Diagnosis for Ma'aden Mining Gold Company (Saudi Arabia) focused on Material Management (including Procurement, Maintenance, Warehousing and Inventory management activities)

Activities / Achievements:
- Developed a diagnosis tool based on a questionnaire to assess the maturity model of a Material Management department (Strategy / Organization / Processes / System / Interfaces with other departments)
- Visited and interviewed Material Management staff and directors of Ma'aden 5 gold mines in Saudi Arabia western province
- Data analysis (inventory rotation & potential reduction / Procurement lead times...)
- Built a logistic model to assess the financial impacts of different scenarios over the next 10 years. Scenarios including: cross docking & centralized warehouse
- Participated in the recommendation preparation & presentation to Ma'aden Gold Management

Assessment of the opportunity to implement alternative way of working at UNICEF Jordan office in order to mitigate the increasing terrorist threat against UN staff / offices.

Delivered solution has been standardized and can be implemented in any other UN agency.

The solution is made off advanced time management / alternative workspace / enhanced IT connectivity. A model has been developped for real-time optimization of the building space. Implementation is phased and supported by strong change management.

Supervised the development & configuration of a software in San Francisco:
- Software dedicated in supporting the expatriates relocation from anywhere in the world to KAUST (Jeddah, Saudi Arabia). Core capability is a direct interface between each expatriates and the different Service Providers involved in the relocation (HR/freight/travel/brokerage...)
- Definition of the business requirements, day to day follow-up & reporting on the latest development achievements & issues, tests

Presented the software capabilities to KAUST CEO & Management in Washington & London offices

Project for SABIC (10th petrochemical group in the world, CA: 36 billion $)
Client: Suppy Management Shared Services organization

Project Budget: 65 Million $ - 10 consultants

Mission: Improve Asset Availability through 3 actions:
- Consolidate 17 spare parts warehouses belonging to SABIC Affiliates into 1 automated regional warehouse (improvement of time to fix)
- Re-target inventory levels of all spare parts - more than 700,000 SKU (improvement of Service level)
- Process improvements to ensure sustainable results (including Supplier reliability improvement)

Achievements / Activities:
- Responsible for all Project Control activity (budget, issues & risks, planning, communication)
- Responsible for project performance KPIs building & communication to Management
- Built & Managed a 4 people team (planners & buyers) dedicated to reduce spare parts excess stock by controling PRs & POs on a weekly basis (achieved 4 million $ savings in 3 months)
- Conducted various analysis focusing on Supplier reliability, Lead-Time improvement


Internal activities:
- Involved in the creation of a Knowledge Management strategy for the office
- Co-author of a Project Management Best Practive Guide focusing on the Middle East industry
