    Summary

    The human brain is a crazy place, and there are two things that fascinate me most about service & growth marketing. First: the concept of consumer logic and how rational yet irrational it can be. And second: the challenge of communicating in a way that persuades and convinces consumers always requires optimisation - so you're optimising for something that is both rational and irrational. The commercial approach in hotel industry must be continuously tweaked to match shifts in local markets. The hotel might need different action plan for each season, target audience or type of traveller. Continual research, careful monitoring of the competition and market trends, are the only ways to achieve competitive advantage. Previously, I have developed and implemented strategic marketing, sales & business development plans that launched new hotels and consistently augmented top line revenue and overall profitability for leading multinational companies in the Hospitality & Tourism sectors in the Middle East. Outside work, I'm an avid runner, cyclist, and I love water-sports! Yassir Demnati
